Good afternoon Purple, Green and CIT Group Parents/Guardians,

As you all know, while physically on our way to Lake Compounce this morning they called me to cancel our trip having closed their park for today.  Your campers were brought back to the school and up to camp and the PV Market saved us once again ( like last year) with providing a last minute lunch for our kids.

Moving forward we have reschduled this trip for a date in week 8 of camp.  We have replaced Lake Compounce with Quassy Amusement park, which is also in Connecticut.  We have rescheduled the trip for Tuesday August 20th.

Since this is a completely different week of camp with different registered campers we are offering the following:

1. If your child was registrered and scheduled to go on the trip today AND also registrerd for week 8 then you do not have to do anything, except sign a new permission slip stating the new date and location. ( this will be sent out next week).

2. If your child was registered and scheduled to go on the trip today BUT they are not registrerd for week 8 of camp, They can still attend this reschduled trip to Quassy.  Please let me know if they will be joining us by Wednesday August 14th, if they will not be attending a refund will be issued for the price of the trip.

3. If your child was not registrered for todays trip BUT they are attending week 8 ( and are in purple, green and cit groups) they now have a chance to sign up for this trip, with payment of $55 also by Wednesday August 14th.
