Drop off: 171 Oscawana lake rd., Putnam Valley NY 10579Parents will Drop off at the Putnam Valley Elementary School top parking lot (see attached photo) You will drive up follow the signs and we will have someone help your child out of the car. Quick and easy drop off. Children will then be bused up to the camp. Camp buses start at 7am and run every 20 minutes until 9am SHARP!  If you are running late to drop off, please do not follow the 9am bus. Anyone after 9am, all late arrivals must wait until 9:30am. When you get to the bridge, call the day camp phone number 845-260-2807 to drive up the hill. Do not drive up without calling please! <ol start="4"><li class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left: 8px; text-align: justify;">Pick up by 4pm: 171 Oscawana lake rd., Putnam Valley NY 10579</li></ol>Parent pick up is at the Putnam Valley Elementary. Parking will be at the front of the school. You will walk on the side walk to get to the side of the building for pick up. (Photos attached) Children will be bused down to the school and should be there between 3:20pm and 4pm. After 4pm pickups will be bussed back up to camp and will be charged for the afternoon.  <ol start="5"><li class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left: 8px; text-align: justify;">After 4pm pick up: </li></ol>Children who stay after camp will be dismissed to the Day Camp cafeteria at 3:15pm to be served a light snack. After snack at 4pm campers will have the opportunity for free swim from 4:00 to 5:00 (Weather permitting) They will also have the options of gaga ball, basketball, Board games or arts and crafts.  Buses will run from 4:20pm until 6pm (every 20 minutes) Please call the camp phone 845-260-2807 to schedule a time for your child to get on the bus.   <ol start="6"><li class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left: 8px; text-align: justify;">Early pick up / late Drop off:</li></ol>Please call the Camp to let them know of any early pick up or late drop off. This can be done between the hours of 9:30 and 2:30pm. YOU MUST call 845-260-2807 before driving up the hill. <ol start="7"><li class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left: 8px; text-align: justify;">Physicals & Immunization Records:</li></ol>We require all children who attend PV Day camp to have updated physicals and Immunization records before they can attend our camp.All records are due no later than June 22nd.  <ol start="8"><li class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left: 8px; text-align: justify;">A Day At Camp:</li></ol>Children will go through a rotation schedule with their group at camp. This rotation schedule includes: Art and Crafts- a variety of arts and crafts different each week for each age group. Most arts and crafts will be focused on the event for the week. Nature- Hiking & STEM nature based activities.  Ropes-( 7 years old and up) Zip line- - rope ladder- and a climbing wall. Children under 7 will do large group activities that involves team work  Sports- A variety of gym games different each week for each age group   Pool- Each Monday our Water Safety Instructor (WSI) will swim test all interested children 7 yrs. and up. We will also offer swim assistance on Wednesdays (this will be offered during open swim)  Snack- & Lunch-  You must provide EVERYDAY (Friday pizza is provided for Lunch)  Game Room- Each week they will play and enjoy organized games. Examples:  Board games, pool table, air hockey, ping pong table and card games.  TEEN TRAVEL- Grades 6 and up- If your child is not interested in going on the trip, they are more than welcome to stay at camp on these dates. If your child will be going, we require a permission slip one week prior to the trip. We will send out the permission slips the first week of camp. Teen travel is not mandatory it’s an option for all children grades 6 and up. During these trips the K-5th graders will have on site events We will be offering two trips this year: Week 2- <a name="_Hlk189488802">Palisades Center Trip (Thursday July 9th)</a>Two by Two Animal Haven (K-5TH grade) Week 6- Quassy Amusement Park (Wednesday August 5th) Drive in Movie (K-5TH grade)

Putnam Valley Day Camp Final Payments

Good morning PVDC families!I am writing to remind everyone that PV Day Camp Final balances are due BY June 1st! Also I am asking that anyone who needs to make changes or drops to weeks you are currently registered for to please do this BY May 22nd. We still have an extensive waiting list and families are anxiously awaiting to see if there will be availability for their child (ren) to come to camp this year.  If there are weeks you no longer want or need please DO NOT wait for June 1st when final payments are due to tell us these changes. Thank you
