Putnam Valley Day Camp Update!

Due to the damage from the storm, the bridge on brookfalls rd is not accessible that will allow us to bring campers up and down to camp.  The Putnam Valley Day Camp is closed Tuesday and Wednesday July 11th & July 12th.  The town is working hard to get the bridge functionable and safe for not only the residents on that road but for our campers as well. Updates on a reopening will be sent out as soon as we can.

However, our teen travel trip to Splashdown WILL take place tomorrow. The trip is for campers in the purple, green and cit groups (which, if this is your first week, it is campers entering 6th grade and up in September).  

Since there is no access to camp, Drop off for this trip begins at 8:30am.  There will not be staff at the middle school until this time.  Drop off at the PV Middle school between 8:30am-9:00am. The bus will be leaving the school at 9:15am sharp.  We will not be able to wait for late comers.  You can pick up your camper at the MS between 3:30-4:00pm.  We will NOT have aftercare until 6pm due to, again having no access to camp. 

Information for the trip: Campers will be given the PV tank that they must wear tomorrow morning upon arrival.  Groups of 6-7 kids will also be made tomorrow morning.  Campers should bring a bag with a towel, sunscreen and a change of clothes.  They will NOT be allowed on the coach bus in wet clothes.  Lunch is provided but campers can bring extra money for snacks.
