Hi Folks, Our virtual Parent Orientation is up on the Putnam Valley Day Camp facebook page under videos. Lot's of important information and a wonderful tour of our facility! Pretty proud of it! PV Day Camp is closed on Monday, July 5th in observation of Independance Day. Please make sure we have received your child's physical and immunization records. Hello again! What a week for day camps and masks! Please see below the paragraph that we extracted from the guidelines we received yesterday 5/24: Responsible Parties should encourage that children/campers age 2 and older who are not fully vaccinated wear face coverings except when eating, drinking, showering, swimming, or sleeping/resting. Young children/campers (i.e., those that are not yet in kindergarten) do not need to wear face coverings when they are in child care or day camp program facility or area. Hello PV Day Camp families, I have just received the following from our Department of Health representative from Putnam County: Putnam County Department of Health will be following the NYS guidance which requires campers to wear their masks. If that guidance changes prior to camp starting, we will let you know. So at this time -Putnam Valley Day Camp campers will be required to wear face masks except when eating, drinking and swimming. Hi Folks, Hope this email finds you well. We have some exciting news about day camp! We were able to add an additional rotation "It's a performing arts with a social media twist -is what they are calling it!) which allowed us to add more campers this summer. Due to the slight rise in kids, it made the amount of individual cars into the facility a bit tricky so we have decided to add one small mini bus to our AM and PM drop off and pick up.
