Day Camp will be OPEN ON THURSDAY!

July 11th 2023 EDT

Good afternoon, I am happy to email you all that we will be open on Thursday July 13th at normal time. Bad news…… JUST TWO THINGS We have no water. BUT we have secured porta potty’s and hand washing stations and tons of portable water for the children to drink. We are hopeful we can get it fixed next week. Day Camp-Refunds/Credits

Hello again, Refunds or  credit will be issued after we are able to assess the situation at camp later this week. We will notify you next week with the amount you will be refunded. The town is working hard to get the bridge functionable and safe for not only our campers but also the residents on that road as well. Day Camp Tuesday and Wednesday

Putnam Valley Day Camp Update! Due to the damage from the storm, the bridge on brookfalls rd is not accessible that will allow us to bring campers up and down to camp.  The Putnam Valley Day Camp is closed Tuesday and Wednesday July 11th & July 12th.  The town is working hard to get the bridge functionable and safe for not only the residents on that road but for our campers as well. Week 3

July 9th 2023 EDT

Week 3 Announcements: The summer is moving swiftly, it’s week 3 already!  This week we have our teen travel trip to splashdown on Tuesday for the purple, green and cit groups. Campers will receive their travel tank and flyer with all information on Monday at camp. Thursday will be our Drive-in movie event for all campers.  They will receive “Toni Bucks” to spend at the concession stand during their assigned movie 🎥 🍿. COVID-vaccinations

Good Morning, I am looking for all children who have been vaccinated for COVID-19 some of you have it listed on your child's physicals. This is incase there is an outbreak, if there is one, I need to povide the health department with how many children and staff are not vaccintaed vs vaccinated. Onto week 2 announcements!  Week 2 is Spirit Week with Neon Color Wars on Friday!  Campers should dress each day to gain points for their color wars team!    Monday-Jersey Day, Wear your favorite sports shirt Tuesday - No Camp. Air quality

June 30th 2023 EDT

Dear Parents, We will be monitoring the air quality again today.   All activities will be indoors. IF theNumbers start to go down and it's under 100, we will go in the pool. As stated below if we are in the orange (we are in the red as of 5am) we will go swimming and have light outside activities. Block party will go on today. Most the activities are yard games with limited movement. If your child has any respitory issues or health issues, it would be best they do not attend camp today. Tomorrow's air Quality

Dear Parents, Due to the predicted air quality alert tomorrow we will have limited activities at camp.  There will be no pool and no sports games.  All activities will be indoors. However our indoor space is limited and not sealed nor does it have air Conditioning. If your child has any respitory issues or health issues, it would be best they do not attend camp tomorrow.
