11/3/17 Hi Folks, Two times a year NY State School Age Child Care regulations require us to conduct a shelter-in-place still. We will be conducting these drills in each program next week. The children will be required to sit quietly in the hallway of the school-away from the windows. We always discuss why we are conducting the drill. The entire drill takes less than 10 minutes. PV CHILDREN'S CENTER WEATHER BULLETIN ☆ If the PV School District is closed, the PV Children's Center is closed for the day. ☆If the PV School District is on a two hour delay, the PV Children's Center AM session is also on a two hour delay. A one hour delay would mean the AM session would open one hour later. It has been decided that any PVCC kids that are old enough to play a modified sport, are eligible to ride the late bus. Therefore, 7&8th grade students may ride the 5:30 bus home from our program. We will be offering half day care on Thursday 11/2(ES students only), full day care on 11/7 (Bronx Zoo trip-ES & MS students), and now it's been changed to half day care (ES students) on 11/9. The price for 11/9 has been altered due to the district changing the day to a half day dismissal from a full day. The price is now $40. Our computer system may not reflect this price.
