Hi Folks, The PV Children's Center is required by our SACC (School Age Child Care) regulations to conduct 2 shelter in place drills each school year.  We do the 2 drills when we change the clocks in the Fall and the Spring. We will conducting our shelter in place drills sometime next week.  Each session AM-PM-MS will instruct the children on what to do in the event of a situation that would require us to take shelter.  The explanations will be age appropriate for the ES and MS groups.  T ...Continue Reading

Hi All, Just a heads up... if I text looking for your November tuition payment (was due 10/20), which I should be doing after lunch today-YOU WILL BE CHARGED THE 10% LATE FEE!!! Hi All, We are closing registration for the Bronx Zoo at 4 pm on Monday, October 21st.  Sign up now if you would like your child to attend!  It is such a fun day-we have the zoo to ourselves because the NYC schools are in session.  We do go rain or shine-this is an all day event. Hi Folks, The PVCC is offering child care this fall on days that the school is closed or have an early dismissal.  The dates are Nov 5-offering full day care, Nov 8-offering full day care, and Nov 14 th- offering half day care.  On November 5 we are offering child care from 7 am-6 pm.  On this day, we travel to the Bronx Zoo.  We have been doing this for many years now.  The zoo is great that day because it is empty!  The NYC schools are in session that day- so we have the zoo pretty mu ...Continue Reading

Hi All, Just a reminder that your October tuition is due now.  Payment can be made at the Centers, over the phone to the Rec office 845-526-3292 or you can drop it by the Recreation Office we are here 8 am-4 pm.  The Town charges a 1.5% service fee for all credit/debit card transactions.  The Elementary school only can take cards. HI Folks, By now you should have received your October tuition statement electronically.  All tuition payments are due on the 20th of September.  Payments can be made at both Centers.  Payments can be made by cash, check or credit/debit. The Elementary site can only accept credit/debit cards.
