Dear PVCC Parents/Guardians,

The school year is officially in full swing and we have some reminders to mention to all our families.

The Putnam Valley Children's Center is a recreational program that is run through the Parks and Recreation department in The Town of Putnam Valley. We have no affiliation with the Putnam Valley Central School District.  We simply rent the spaces from them in order to run our program. In order for us to communicate with any teachers or staff of the district and them to us about your children (as both entities are confidential employees), both parties need your permission.  The School District does not share ANY information with us unless you specifically ask them to. 

AM PROGRAM- When dropping off your child in the mornings, please park in a parking spot if you are walking them to the cafeteria doors.  If you are letting your child out at the circle, please pull over far enough for other cars (specifically teachers and staff of the school district) to pass you.

PM PROGRAM- Please notify both the school and the Children's Center if your child won't be attending that day. Also, pick up in the afteroon program is by 6:00PM SHARP! We already have had many after 6:00pm pickups.  This will now result in a $10 late pick up fee every time it occurs ( we will give you a 1 time only grace pick up, as know sometimes things happen). Our staff also have families and commitments that they need to get to after 6:00pm.

TUITION PAYMENTS-  Payments are due by the 20th of each month for the following month. For example, October's tuition will be due by September 20th.  We have tons of options for you to pay your tuition on time.

1. Pay online via your account at reg.pvpr.com through paypal with a 4% credit card fee added, and they accept all major credit cards.

2. Pay at either PVCC location with cash or check made payable to PV Parks and Recreation.

3. Pay at the Parks & Recreation office with cash or check or credit card ( with a 4% fee added) Office is open from 8am-4pm.

4. Pay over the phone by calling the PV Parks & Rec office at 845-526-3292 with a credit card and a 4% fee. Accepted cards are Visa, Mastercard and Discover. NO Amex

5. Pay with cash or check in a clearly marked envelope and leave in our secure afterhours drop box located on our covered porch at the PVPR office.

6. Pay by mailing a check to PVPR 265 Oscawana Lake Rd. PV, NY 10579

ANY payment made after the 20th of the month will receive a 10% late fee added to your bill.

Any changes to your child's schedule must be made between the 15th ( when the invoices come out) and the 20th ( when invoices are due) of the month prior in order for us to process.  All changes to schedules have a $25 change/drop fee added to invoices.  After you make payment by the 20th of the month, any changes to schedules will NOT result in refunds or credits.
