Welcome And Welcome Back! We will be open Tuesday September 3rd 2024 for 5th and 6TH Graders, and open to all on Wednesday Spetmber 4th, 2024.

Please see the Attached Parent handbook, weather bulletin and our important numbers please enter these numbers into your phones now.

PM CARE AT THE Middle School (OPEN FROM 2:45PM-6PM)

ALL CHILDREN MUST HAVE A NOTE TO THE HOMEROOM TEACHER TO ATTEDNED THE AFTERNOON PROGRAM

For the new children- ALL CHILDREN MUST WALK THEMSELVES TO 140. This classroom is located right next to the cafeteria (social commons area/gym) it is the only classroom through the double doors to get to the gym and cafeteria.

For Pick up at the Middle School Children’s Center, Parents will call or Text 845-656-1631.

Please text or call this phone number to leave a message if your child will not attend or be absent from the program as well. We do not get any information from the Middle School about who is coming or who is not. Children and parents are responsible for their child to stay after for activities or PV Children’s Center. If they get on the bus to go home, the children are let off without a parent or guardian present at the bus stop.

Please park in front of the  Middle School's main entrance. A PVCC staff member will escort you child to the main entrance

PM at the Middle School Program Overview:

This center is its own group. Their afternoon will look a little different then the Elementary School center. The day will consist of Snack, Homework, outside (we go out when it is cold) and cooking/ art projects. The gym at the Middle School is used way more than the Elementary by the school. The gym will be used when the school is not using it.  We use the outside basketball court or go on the nature trail a lot more than the gym at this program.

Since these children are older, this program is guided by the children themselves. They are instrumental in helping the staff outline activities and projects into the program.
