Last week you all received an email from the school district with changes to the end of the year schedule for the Elementary and Middle school kids. 

This information is for MS parents:

Our Middle School students are having a half day dismissal on Thursday, June 14th.  The 7th and 8th grade students will be attending school in the morning-dismissing at 11 am.  WE WILL NOT BE PROVIDING CHILDCARE FOR THE 7TH AND 8TH GRADERS ON THIS DAY.  Children Center families will need to make alternate arrangements for their 7th and 8th graders-they will be leaving the building at 11 AM.  This decision was made due to low numbers for this age group-we only have 4 kids in these grades. 

We will however be providing care for our 5th and 6th graders on this day, Thursday, June 14th.  We will open at the Middle School at 7 am for childcare.  We will release them at 11 am for school and then offer care again for our regular afterschool hours.  Sign up for this day will be done the old fashioned way just because it is to much trouble to get our tech guy to get it on the website with camp registration happening now.  It is $40 for the additional care-you can sign up with Mrs. McDonald at the Children's Center or email me directly.  Payment will be accepted at either the Center or Parks and Rec. 

This information is for ES parents:

The district has changed the half day dismissal for the Elementary school.  They have moved it from Thursday, June 21 to Friday, June 22nd.  We are unable to offer childcare for this new date.  As many of you know Annie and I oversee the PV Day Camp.  We have always used that Friday to move the Children's Center up to the camp and do many last minute camp chores. So therefore, we will not be offering half day childcare on Friday, June 22nd at the Elementary school. So the last day of PM care is Thursday, June 21st and the last AM session is Friday, June 22nd.

If you have already paid for the old date (6/21), please reach out to Annie regarding moving the money via email aspinelli@PROTECTED.  You can apply your monies to your child's June tuition, PV Day Camp, or apply it to your next year balance. 

I apologize for any hardships this has created.  I was not part of the planning process-if one of our parents didnt share the email, I probably still would not know about this!
