Hi all, Welcome back or welcome to the Putnam Valley Children's Center! Looking forward to meeting you all and your children next week on Monday, September 9th I would like to go over a few important points before we get started

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL - The Children's Center is located in the cafeteria Our telephone number there is 845-528-4911

If using our AM program , please walk your child into the building on the first day, if it is your child's first time attending our program You must park your car in a parking spot (not the fire lane) The PVCC children and parents enter the building through the cafeteria You will knock and a PVCC staff member will let you into the program Once you start dropping your child without exiting from your car, please pull to the right so other cars can still get around the traffic circle We serve breakfast in the AM program until 8:30 am Your child can bring their own food if preferred

If using our PM program at the Elementary School, you must provide a note to the teacher stating that your child will be staying at the afterschool program on such and such days You will do this only on their first day of attendance or when any changes occur You will pick your child up in the cafeteria You must enter throuugh the cafeteria door You will knock to enter the building Be prepared to give your child's 4 digit code when picking up Snack will be provided at the start of our day, again your child can bring their own snack

The afterschool program at the Middle School operates out of room # 140 Our telephone number there is 845-656-1631 To pick up your child in the afternoon, you will use the door in the courtyard to the right ( not the door used for the gym during Rec Basketball) You will ring the doorbell and a PVCC staff member will let you into the building Be prepared to give your child's 4 digit code when picking up Snack will be provided ,once again your child is welcome to bring their own food

Middle School children must give their homebase teacher a note stating that they will be staying for the afterschool program on such and such days You will do this only on the first day they attend or if any changes occur

ALL PVCC CENTERS HAVE A PEANUT FREE TABLE FOR SNACK- PLEASE REFRAIN FROM SENDING IN PEANUT SNACKS!

Any dietary/allergy concerns must be brought to the attention of myself or Site Superviser asap

NY State does not allow children in School Age Childcare programs to self-medicate Any medications needs must be discussed with the Site Supervisor or myself before we can administer them Once the appropriate form is completed by your physician, the medication will be stored at the Center for when needed
